It’s Infinix coming back strong into the smartphone market after Tecno had dominated for the last few months. Tecno releases a couple of entry-level and mid-range devices like Pouvoir 2 and Spark 2 while Infinix responds with just one device which balances all the difference. It’s the ‘Infinix hot note 5’. The Hot Note 5 is getting ready to succeed Note 4 before the end of the month.
Hot Note 5 Is Finally Going To Launch Soon
It took too long if you ask me but we can only hope the Infinix product is worth all the wait. Just as you’d guess, Infinix note 5 specs are really attractive, from the design on the outside to the processor in the core of the device. It is an Android One device and it helps the device with A.I advantage. The phone will provide a full HD+ display based on an 18:9 screen ratio. But the little extra something in this twist is its giant 4500mAh battery which should guarantee a whopping 3-days under normal usage. Infinix note 3 is similar in capacity but might not keep-up for more than 20 hours after full charge. This is so because newer devices have a better way of optimizing power. The device is rumoured for release on July 24, but before then, below are the things you should expect.

Infinix Note 5 Design
Infinix has shown maturity lately in terms of design, going from making ‘boxy’, less creative devices (if you remember the Infinix Hot 1 very well) to making devices with smooth, sexy and colourful body. The Note 5 has a metallic glossy back which easily makes it the most stunning Infinix smartphone yet.
The fingerprint scanner is now back to the back as expected to give way for the trending full screen. The rear camera and LED flash was moved to the top left corner as well, just like on the Hot 6.
Infinix Note 5 Display
The Hot S3 launched with the trending 18:9 aspect ratio screen, the Hot 6 did same, now the Note 5 can’t offer less. Although the top and bottom bezel are still visible, it’s refreshing to see the full view on the Note Series. The Note 5 boasts of a 6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, this is perfect for big screen lovers. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 402 pixels per inch density offering immersive visuals. The screen also got up to 79% screen-to-body ratio.
Did you know the Tecno Pouvoir 2 last up to 96 hours before next recharge?

Infinix is going to put out a powerful device in the note 5 considering all the wonderful specs and the A.I capabilities that comes with Android One. Wonderful design, metallic body just like every premium smartphone should be.
2. Performance, Software and Hardware
4. A.I. with Google Lens, Google Assistant
5. Battery and other Accessories
6. Android One Support – which ensures at least 2 more System O.S Upgrade from Oreo to Android Q. This device is wonderful. But there are a few other features that would want to make us ask questions. Especially these two,
- Face ID
It is still not confirmed yet if the Note 5 will come with Xpen, some sources say it has it while others say it doesn’t. As for Face ID, it either has no Face ID or the tech and quality behind it is weak. This is so apparent because Infinix is not making any noise about it, Maybe we will have to wait for Note 6 to see this feature.
But I guess you’d still love this phone regardless of the missing Face ID.
